An interactive retail experience
at Nordstrom's New York flagship
Our team led the design of a larger-than-life Disney retail experience. In less than four weeks we designed, prototyped, tested and launched a fully immersive takeover of Nordstrom’s 1776 sq. ft. entrance at Broadway and 57th Avenue in New York City.

The pop-up generated exceptional engagement and surpassed expectations. First-week sales finished 12% above plan.
Over its 8-week run, the shop outperformed every prior period in 2023, achieving a 218% increase over the next-best sales period.
To bring Disney's magic to life,
we transformed the space, inside and out.
We wanted to create an interactive experience where a digital silhouette would mirror the body language of the user.

After early prototyping, we pivoted to a solution that met our goals within project constraints.

Rapid ideation, testing and iteration led us to prototypes for three simple yet impactful interactive moments.



Magic happens when users know intuitively how to interact.
Users are provided with cues to interact with the content – for example, animated harp strings that demonstrate how they are played, and floor graphics that note where users can stand to interact.
